Food

Dining at Finca Las Encinas is an uncompromising affair. We make sure that all ingredients we use are the freshest and finest, which are ecologically and ethically produced by ourselves on our grounds, local farmers known to us personally or we purchase seafood from sustainable sources. Using such wonderful seasonal ingredients, no wonder Chef Clive always produces magic in his Spanish kitchen!

Breakfast:

  • Breakfast is served between 8-00 am and 10-00 am
  • With a choice of freshly squeezed orange juice, toast of home-baked bread, award-winning extra virgin olive oil, freshly crashed tomato, homemade preserves, locally cured meat, local cheeses, seasonal fruits and coffee or tea

Lunch:

  • We actively encourage our guests to explore the hidden gems of Andalusia and experience local flavours, for this reason unfortunately we do not offer lunches

Gourmet Dinner:

  • 3 or 2 course dinner is served from 8-00 pm, barbecues may be available in summer
  • Seasonal daily menu is offered to our guests
  • Regional specialities, classic Mediterranean cuisine and chef’s original signature dishes are served in a dinner party style

Aperitif

  • Home-grown home-cured green olives

Starter

  • Garlic soup with quail egg
  • Lightly soused horse mackerel with orange and ginger dressing
  • Clams & sweet shrimps steamed in fino, konbu & citrus
  • Local black pudding & red onion marmalade on toasted walnuts & dates chapata bread

Main Course

  • Al-Andaluz chicken in pomegranate jus
  • Salt-roast seabass with sweet red pepper salsa
  • Pan fried bream fillet with tomato, garlic and tarragon salsa
  • Artichoke & tomato tagine on couscous with pickled lemons & roasted garlic

Dessert

  • Dark chocolate torte with walnut meringue ice-cream
  • Lemon tart with lavender scented honey
  • Baked peaches with sweet almond stuffing with cinnamon parfait
  • Cherry and almond clafoutis

Digestifs
